Profile

As a full-time faculty member at the PolyU Design, I bring a wealth of education and industry experience to the academic community. I earned a BA in Visual Communication from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 1998, followed by an MA in Communication Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in 1999. Furthermore, I completed a PGDE at the Hong Kong Institute of Education in 2003 and was recognized as an Instructor of the Higher Education Academy in 2002.

Prior to my academic career, I worked as a web designer and freelancer for several broadcasting companies, including Commercial Radio Hong Kong and Star TV. After joining the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) as an Instructor in 2002, I later joined the School of Design (SD) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

In addition to teaching, I have contributed to the academic community through various professional activities. I have served as a member of the HKCEE and HKAL Visual Arts paper Moderation Committee, Design and Applied Technology Committee, and Recognition of Prior Learning Committee (Printing Industry). I am currently a Visual Arts and Film & Media Arts Examiner for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and an External Examiner for the HKDI.
